Claire loves to bake cakes! She bakes large round ones serving a minimum of 8 persons. They are ideal for traditional teatimes- christenings, wakes, birthday parties & fork buffets.
She likes to use seasonal produce, often from their shared allotment. Her carrot cake uses an amazing canadian recipe. Shes also become an expert on recipes including rhubarb!
Her other joy is to bake cupcakes with that trendy swirly icing. She is committed to making them taste great as well as looking luscious. Flavourings are natural ones- lemon zest & juice, strawberry jam to flavour & colour girly ones etc.
She’s very happy to work to themes in decoration & flavouring.

Just wanted to thank you for the excellent job you did on Saturday for our Son’s wedding at Lower Grange Farm in Maidstone.
To provide such a good service with no onsite kitchen was amazing; realise it must have been a daunting challenge and a bit of a nightmare but you guys did brilliantly and we can’t thank you enough for all your hard work.
The canapés were lovely and very frequent! Both the beef bourguignon and chicken dish we had were tasty and there was plenty of it, a guest who had the vegetarian dish was very complimentary about it and the trio of desserts was a good selection especially the strawberry shortbread heart.
We will certainly recommend Absolutely Ravenous to others.
